Flashback Friday

Its becoming more of a flashback Saturday if I don't start doing a little better here.

A hot topic at our home over the past couple of months is getting Emilie a car. She is so busy with working and her school activities that its best she gets her own. She wants a white Jetta!!

This is Andrew when he purchased his first vehicle. The girls only wish he still owned it!!! They love it. We love listening to Andrew's stories with this jeep, good and bad (like the trip to Colorado to see his family:( ) I had a little yellow bug, that was broken down more than it actually worked. Em is a smart girl so we are hoping she makes a good decision. So if any knows of a white jetta for sale, we are open to help on this one.

Flashback Friday

I meant to do this yesterday but the day was filled with family activities. One of my best friends since junior high posts a flashback friday and I love seeing the cute posts so sorry Jeni but I am going to take after you and do it. This fun picture is when we were in high school:) Every summer Jeni and I would go to East Canyon with my parents for a week. We loved it. Laying by the pool, flirting with the boys, sleeping in and eating yummy little cheesecakes that my mom would make us. I want Jeni to know how much I love her, we don't see each other a whole lot even though we live 3minutes away but I know if I ever needed anything I could call her. Love ya Jen, and don't hate me for posting this picture.

This post is for our little soccer girl, Kaitlyn. For the past 3 yrs we have had the opportunity to compete in the Summer games in Cedar City. This year we played against some of the best teams in the state. The girls played so hard and won all their games up until the last one, which was for the gold. We still won the Silver medal though. Kaitlyn played so hard and well, in fact the last game she played the whole game except for about 3 minutes the second half.

Kait with one of her good friends that
we played against and won 2-1!!!!

Showing us some of her mad skills

Looks like she is running after the ball and
trying to listen to her coach at the same time

After the final game, the team was able to receive their silver medals. This is a picture of the team posing for pictures with their medals. We have loved going to the Summer games. We are sad though this was our last time. Next summer our coach is wanting to take our girls to England to train and watch a couple of professional games in Manchester. We are so proud of Kaitlyn, she never complains about practice(2-3x a wk) or having to play games in the snow or the extreme heat. She loves it.
We love you, Kake

2nd Anniversary!

It's the funniest thing. I'm sitting here with Paige as we make this blog and we're both speechless. I think we know in our hearts how we feel towards each other but can't put it into words. I love my wife dearly, and I know she cares for me. Between the high's and low's we remain each others best friend. Life is hectic so i'm glad I can post some pics and remember how it was to take a second and think of how much we were meant to be together.

Happy Anniversary babe!
